LOL Alan :) I'd be happy to help! ;)
I paid for it after lol still am dragging but the work was worth it; if I keep up light yard work (we had a rough winter in terms of trees cracking and breaking), in the rear part of our yard which is more wooded I should be back in shape in no time lolol

This is very cool to hear. It's getting warm here in the Wasatch and I'm needing a trip to the desert. Kinda hesitant but time outside really lifts my spirits. I've got a new tent, all the gear is located and I'm itchin'  (literally) to get back in the great outdoors. Man I'll be so happy when this tx is over.

Thanks for sharing you strength and hope.

I too had a normal day yesterday :) It felt great to get outside and do some yard work!
I dug out a boulder that our lawnmower blades will usually snag when mowing the yard.
Took an old big black hard plastic winter sled and was able to hook it up to our lawn mower. My Dad moved the boulder to where in the yard he wanted it and I flipped it out of the sled and pushed it where he wanted on our stonewall.
Then I took our tree shears and Dad asked me to cut down some bushes at the edge of our property; did that for about an hour.
Came inside and took a break; had some beef broth and spaggetti. And alot of water :)
Then went back outside and took the mower and sled and gathered all the debris and big branches and loaded them on to the sled and moved them behind our house by our shed; I am half done with a new firepit, so I figured I could cut down the bush branches and set them aside so we'd have fire wood.
Then went to two areas of our yard where we lost parts of our Pine Trees during winter storms; took a few trips but was able to load those onto the sled and moved to the shed :)
Then took out some vines on the side of our house that have been growing into the siding that took about an hour.
Then mowed our entire yard (about 2 acres) I started all this at about 11am-noon and finished by 5 pm.
I am paying for it now lol but it felt great to be outside and productive!

Good grief, Renee! And I thought I got a lot done. When can you come to my house? Cathy will fix you anything you want to eat if you can just get those darn limbs cleaned up. All kidding aside, I am so happy to hear you had enough steam to get all that work done. Not many "healthy" folks can work that hard. Alan

Holla all!

Yup acting/being normal is such a blessing! A camping trip was just what I needed. Went swimming, bushwalking, fishing-and ate the fish we caught, and saw the biggest single drop waterfall in Australia @ 278 m high!

Back late on Sunday nite for my Monday shot day, slept and relaxed most of it to recharge and recuperate lol

Awesome to hear that so much 'normality' was about over the weekend aww

Hugs all

K

p.s. That photo is lovely innerview!

Ahh, what an up-tone thread, hardly looks like a Hep C Tx group.

Innerview, luv the pic.  If THAT doesn't give you a reason to win, nothing will!

I got out too, up into the rocks (Red Rocks Park, Las Vegas)  I love to climb, although I'm still moving low. Beautiful 80 degree day, got a lil sunburned (only been off riba 5 days, but what the h*ll, felt wonderful ;)

Keep "acting normal" everyone!!!

Brad

That is so funny. We went camping at Mungo national park. Had my sons 11th birthday and I started reading the Hunger Games. Happy normal to you all, oh Happy Easter too.

Mark, those are two fine looking specimens. You have have a lot to be happy about. Loved hearing about everyone's experiences being normal. Like Shep said, you come to cherish those good days, and use them to the fullest. We are back home now, and mostly unpacked. Adam's last day of Spring Break is tomorrow, so one more day with no early wake up (getting him off to school on time makes a 5:30 dose of Incivek look like a walk in the park). Laundry is running, everyone has showered, eggs are gathered, animals fed. Now, I think I'll start "Hunger Games". Cathy and Adam have both finished them, I mustn't be left out. Normally Yours, Alan

happyeaster.jpgHaPPY EASTER everyone!

Great story Alan! Wonderful that you are out living life during all of this. I'm really impressed and happy for you. It is pretty amazing what a little dose reduction will do... I played the guitar today! I haven't done that in 9 weeks!!! I'm not quite ready for camping though...  The picture is my son, Elo, just turned 8, and his/our new dog, Tuxedo Charlie!

Peace!

I went to work at 7am and got done at 6pm. I stopped on the way home and went for a short run in Allaire State Park. I saw 2 mt bikers and some deer, that was it. By the time I finished it was getting dark and I got a feeling of peaceful tiredness that I have rarley felt in the last couple of years.  That used to be normal for me. I came home and the house was decorated for Easter and my daughter walked in from school as we were eating dinner. It was a perfectly normal day. One of many coming I hope.

Here's to wishing everyone another "normal" day today. God bless you all.

Alan, your post makes me happy too!! I love camping & there is nothing more "normal!" Been having some good days, myself, lately. I spent this morning teaching girl scouts how to sail in 20-30mph winds. Whew! Now I'm off to a birthday party at a boxcar track with my son. Happy normal Easter! Sending warm aloha to everyone!

Yes normal day for me too. Got a call to stop procrit, my labs are normal, so I figure I better make hay while the sun shines so to speak. Might be a bit different in a couple weeks. Hours and hours in the garden, my catnip. Yeah for all normal days!

Alan--this post made me really happy! I am really beginning to cherish those days and moments of "normal." I had a near normal day myself yesterday. Played hookey, ran errands, made a menu for Easter dinner, my daughter took me out to dinner and then after my shot took a moonlit walk through the community/ neigborhood farm. I slept like a dream.
Happy Normal to all!
