Got even BETTER news....

Even though she doesn't want to get my hopes up my doctor has tentatively suggested my chances of clearing this are now 85-95%...
I am already doing a mental victory dance lolz

God bless meds and antibodies!

Hugs to the brother/sisterhood of virus slayers

If I remember, one of our current girls just had a mouthful of oral surgery and is still on treatment as far as I know. Adelaide?? It was tough I can imagine.

Thanks heaps people! The support from all of you is absolute gold aww

It's kinda hard sometimes because doing well on tx is like a bit of a 'secret' victory. The only person in my life who knows what I'm going through is my partner. Oh, and the health care professionals of course...

The only time I get to air my joys and concerns relating to this journey is with all of you on this forum. Although I do attend a support group semi-monthly, the contact is kinda minimal.

So many times I have almost let 'slip' to a good friend that I am crook because of tx, or that I'm in a great mood because my results are promising. I wouldn't say I'm a particularly private person, but I chose early on not to disclose my HCV status to family or friends or work, because of the judgment factor, and also I don't like people worrying for me.

Next goal the 12 week UND milestone! wink Here's hoping!

Way to go, K. Now you are in maintenance mode. It must be the camping and the good attitude. Works every time.

Hey fellow threaders!

I am sooooooooooooo stoked!

I got my viral load bloods back early, the nurse rang me today to reassure me regarding my Neutrophil count (which was nice) but also also to pass on the news that *drum roll* I AM UNDETECTABLE!!!!!

I was really hoping for and EVR and luckily that's what I got

Best. Easter. Ever. That sure beats a big chocolatey egg any day!

Now it's just the next 5 months of tx to ensure that is how it stays.

Keep fighting the good fight people, I'm off to celebrate with pizza!

K
