Thanks everyone!   Jim, I laughed when I read your post.  I haven't seen HTFU before, but I'm pretty sure I get the drift and he'll get a kick out of it too!

You're all so special to take the time to offer support and encouragement to a total stranger (I almost said to a "perfect stranger" but there's nothing perfect about me LOL).   I truly appreciate each and every one of you and wish you all success on this journey.

Glad to hear your husband`s feeling better after the transfusion Elizabeth, and wishing all the best of luck to him with his medication dose.  See how it goes, and as Heather said, they can reduce it again if necessary.

Great news that he`s UND, that must be a real boost for you both!!  biggrin

Hi Elizabeth,

Hopefully the transfusion will help your husband feel better enough so that he doesn't notice the raise in the meds too much.

Should he still feel really rough at that level, they can always reduce them again.

Regards to you both.

Hugs

After getting 2 pints of blood today, Husband is feeling better.

AND.........................   The doc called to say his 4 week labs showed UND!  We're walking on air.  His viral load on starting treatment was 16 million.

Only problem is now that he's been transfused, the doc wants him to go back to 1200 mg/day of riba (she had cut it to 600 due to blood counts) and he doesn't really want to because he feels so totally horrible at that level.  This could be a real problem for him mentally and physically.
