I'm experiencing this too! I do my injections on my belly and there are two sunken areas on either side of my navel. Not complaining, either.

Genotype 1a, non responder to Peg/Riba in 2005. Started triple therapy 1-27-12 with Victrelis.  UNDETECTABLE as of 8wk labs (after 4 weeks of Victrelis) 4-3-12. UND at week 8, 12, 16 & 20 of tx. Completed triple therapy Oct 2012. relapsed 10/2012

You push down on the plunger to get the medicine in, not draw it back to suck out the fat!

No it's just the medication itself is destroying the tsurtounding tissue. Same thing happened my last treatment.

In all reality....I would check with your doc about that. Doesn't seem normal.

Yes I am! 4 and 8 weeks are undetectable. When are you due for a blood test?

That is a new one to me. I am a tad on the hefty side and never noticed anything like that.

Are you virus free yet? I don't get my first testing until week 4.

I get my first test on July 18th. Then after a few days, I should know the result. The past two times that I was on Peg/Riba (48 weeks, 18 months).

I cleared, but it returned a few months after Rx. So I'm not to concerned about clearing this time, it's what happens after the full regiment.

Maybe you need a smaller syringe?

I found a positive side of interferon!:) I am not overweight, 5.4, 126lb but do have some fatty tissue on my thighs. I've noticed after The injection, I develop "holes" sunken tissue on the injection site, about 1" in radius. Interesting but I'm not complaining. I will try on my belly this month, maybe in a month I'll see those 6 pack peak through lol.
