wow I already have all those side effects now, thats why I have trouble keeping my schedule for my meds. Maybe since I have those symptoms I wont notice the same things from an additional medication.

Me too I was on procrit quite a while. Not sure which sx were proctor and which we're peg and rib but I was lucky. Felt low, tired, aches erc . But no drama. Read here someone said they would never do it. Would rather decrease RIBA or quit. It just wasn't that bad for me.

Hey Suzanne

I did ProCrit for half my tx--it was truly not my favorite. The sx for me included pain in bones--especially in legs and feet, muscle aches, irritability and fatigue. It did allow me to stay on tx by keeping RBC at a steady level. And some times the sx were milder. It does take a few weeks to take full efect. Wish you luck and hope it goes easy for you!

My husband has taken it off and on. He doesn't seem to have the sx with it that some people have discussed. As I recall, it took about 2 weeks before it really started improving his blood counts.

Good luck!
