Good to hear that, Caroline. smile The first week can often be a real shock to the system when people start tx and any unexpected sx can be very worrying.  As Biggyb said, lots of water!  All best, Jill xx

Hi Jill, yes my husband is doing much better this week.  He started Victrelis last week and it completely floored him, but he has had a great turn around this week and is handling it much better.  Caroline

I had crazy painful headaches. All through treatment, the best help was drinking as much water as possible. I was also given Narco (a lot like Vicodin) which definitely took the edge off, but didn't take them away. Drink drink drink. Even if its very hard to do so.

Hi there Bloomster, how`s your hubby feeling now?  It`s quite common for people to get sore eyes and headaches on tx, especially following their first shot, but if those pains continue it might be a good idea for him to mention them to his doctor.

All the best, Jill xx

Hubby's just started treatment last week.  Will be doing the triple therapy (victrelis) so is on peg/rib at the moment.

He is having pain behind the eyes and constant shooting pains at the base of his skull, along with the usual fatigue.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks in advance.
