I'm now 4 weeks post tx and most all labs are now in normal range.  My WBCs are just a tad low at 3.5.  RBCs are a wee bit low at 4.09.  Platelets shot up to 186!  AST down to 19.  All others look Really good!  Still waiting on my Quantitative; should be back by Wed.  Just did Labs on Fri (3 days ago).

So it's just as my dr had said.  Takes about a month for all levels to return to normal.

Hi Judy.  That's great and thanks for posting it.  I'm sure it will be very useful to many folks. smile

If anyone is struggling to read it, if you press 'Ctrl' and the plus sign '+' on your pc at the same time, it will zoom the page in...and then 'Ctrl' and the minus key '-' takes it back to normal.

Alternatively, depending on which browser you are using you can click into the spanner symbol in the top right corner of the page and you will have the option to zoom in/out.

All the best and thanks again Judy.

Hugs

I've noticed many people new to the forum asking questions about their labs, particularly their blood cell counts.  As I keep electronic and hard copies of ALL of my labs and radiology for past 20 years, I thought I'd post my tx labs on here to help all newbies, when they reach the point that their WBCs and RBCs start to fall and they need helper injections.

Alan - I modeled my spreadsheet after yours; thank you so much for initially helping with this.  (Alan goes by "news" and his spreadsheet is posted on this forum, as well.)

For all - when your WBCs drop, your dr may prescribe Neupogen injections.  This will increase your Neutrophil (a type of WBC) count.  My injections were once each week.  When your RBCs drop, your dr may prescribe Procrit.  This will increase your Hemoglobin, and so you will likely get some more energy.  Also once per week for me.

I see I can't attach an Excel document here, so I took a snapshot of it and attached as .jpg......I hope you can see it well.

Most of us here have been put on Neupogen, Procrit, or both.  Take a look at my numbers to see what our "normal" is, so you know what to expect.  ALT and AST are the liver enzymes.  All labs in red are LOW.  Labs in blue mean HIGH.  Black is normal.  Hope this helps, and hope it's large enough to read.   Judy
