I feel for you! Today was my last day of Incevek. Plz read my other post. I had something going on about 6" up. It felt like I had a metal pike shoved up there and ever time my heart beat it felt like it was being pulled and pushed. My MD finally gave me a very old school remidey. 16.5 Beladonna w/.60 mg of Opium supository. It saved me and kept me on treatment. Take soothing baths( no fragrance ) I don't think I'd do incevek again. Hang in there stay calm.... Peace

I suffered tremendously w this!
Buy sensitive wipes, cornstarch, witch hazel,
Hemmoroid cream, get doc to prescribe Hemmoroid
Cream if Prep H isn't helping. Keep area clean.
Sleep without underwater.
Hang in guys, it's torturing I know!
Thinking of you and it will pass!

No one really likes talking about this but I have never dealt with the burning pain before like I do now. My God, I can't wait for this part to be over with. I had my gallbladder removed last year and I don't process fats that well anymore. I tried the bare min. and I tried at least x3 amount. Nothing seems to help. There are some days that the bleeding just scares me but it is the burning pain that has almost become unbearable! I have never had a problem with hemorrhoids before I guess I will now. Just wish it was just a itch.

One of the newest medications used to treat
chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is Incivek
(telaprevir). Incivek is a protease inhibitor, taken
with peginterferon and ribavirin, and used for
HCV patients with genotype 1. A common side
effect of Incivek is anorectal discomfort, including
anal itching, burning, and hemorrhoids.
