Thank you all againsmile

mallani  Not sure he would agree with you about the job! He has taken some days off just to use up holiday before the end of the year.

Tig56  His hb has stabilized at 9.5 and that's manageable he says, so he agrees about that one.

JIme  I'm afraid you might cringe but he's not one for drinking water, never has been and I doubt he will start now.  He does drink squash tea and coffee, that will have to do.

Cinnamon Girl Thank you, no rage this time so far, think he's too tired   yawn

2willy  Glad to make you smile, not much around this virus to be happy about.

Biggyb  Last treatment was 48 weeks and he managed to work through that but it didn't have the telap in it so a bit different.

Matt Chris Unless he's pulled off for any reason that's exactly what we intend to do.  Must be doing something right although he's not happy that the telap diet isn't working, weight has been stable so far.

Another week over, onward and upwards  hope everyone is ok

Joyce

Great news Joyce, holding down a full time job must be difficult, i held down a part time job my whole 48 weeks. It was very difficult..SOB was the worst. Huffing and puffing all the time..Much better at eot.

Keep us posted.

Good news Joyce. Tell your husband to keep moving and it will be over before you know it.

I was able to work during my tx and although I was tired sometimes I think it lessened the sx for me. I didn't want to just sit still and let the sx work on me.  It's harder to hit a moving target.:)  Drink plenty of water too!

Hi joyce,

Congrats to you and hubby!  Undetected at week 4 of Incivek triple is a big one, and things look promising. How many weeks is he doing?  As Tig said, Hb levels of 9.5- 10 are manageable, and it is worth the fatigue to  continue on, as the result is worth it. If he could cut back his hours it may help, as SVR is more important than any job. Cheers.

Excellent news, Joyce!  Congrats to your hubby!  You must both be very pleased with how well he is responding this time around.

He`s bound to be feeling tired with a drop in his Hb level but sounds like he`s doing very well continuing to working full-time.

Keep in touch, and best of luck!   smile

Undetectable at 4 weeks is fantastic news!! With results like that the future looks very promising for SVR. I struggled with low HB through treatment but it leveled off at 9.5 to 10, which was manageable. Just tell him to tie a knot in his rope and hang on! He obviously has a lot of personal drive and motivation to handle this and work full time. That's what it takes. Best of luck to you both!

Super fantastic news, Joyce!

Sounds like you are a great support in your hubby's treatment , you are to be commended for such great support. Being UND at 4 weeks is a very good indicator of things to come, whatever your doing its very important that you keep up and don't stop until the weeks are complete.

hoping the best for you.

matt

Thanks for all your kind wishessmile

I am pleased to be able to say that at 4 weeks the virus was undetectable.  No major problems, Hb rather low so he's tired but still able to hold down a full time job.

Good news (for those who remember me)

Hubby is now on treatment.  Seems it's going ok thankfully his nurse is happy so far.  He's on telap twice a day plus riba and interferon.  He gets his 4 week results next week sometime.

Thank you Artie.  You are right we are tired of waiting but i am sure there are others worse than my hubby who need the treatment first.  Stay strong, it will happen.

Joyce, I am in the same delay, delay, delay boat. I have been delayed once again and found out yesterday it could be another 6 months. I just want to get started. I'm tired of waiting as I'm sure you and your husband are.

Hi again Joyce, thanks for the update, and sorry to hear things are progressing so slowly for your hubby.  That`s often the case unfortunately and a lot of us here can relate to how frustrating that is. confuse

Well best of luck to you both, hope things start moving forward before too long.  Don`t forget we`re always here and happy to give support. smile  ~ Jill xx

Good to hear from you again, Joyce, do you know yet which of the triple combos your hubby will be doing?  Glad you`ve found plenty of useful info around here, keep reading and feel free to jump in whenever you like.  In case you didn`t already know, there`s also a "Search" box at the top of the page if you want to look for something specific.

All the best of luck to you both, keep us posted!  smile  ~ Jill xx

Hello Everyone,

Sorry i have not been around recently.  Have been reading but as ive no news to report didn't seem much point in posting.  Still no news on when treatment will start for hubby but must be getting close.  Been thinking of diet and times to eat with the new meds.  I know there is a lot on here, just wanted to say thanks, its helping.
