Hi,

I went to Pflager Liver Ctr at UCLA years ago and saw Dr. Sammy Saab was a total waste of time. With all due respect he was aspergers or related and the appt was about 5 minutes by the time we had exhausted the conversation. He refused to even consider variation from standard treatment and knew nothing whatsoever of protease inhibitors on the horizon. He asked ME to send him info from my research. In any event all I was interested in was bi weekly dosage monitoring and adjustments. So my experience at that particular spot was bad, I'd actually like to find somewhere closer to me if possible. I WILL look at their website though, thanks, I'm not going to write them off entirely, was just a huge reality check. Don't go to a specialist at a specialized disease center and =expect= competent treatment. That was almost 10 years ago.

No biopsy yet but is #1 on my list of things to do. Just got PCIP ins starting Oct 1. Now I see Romney is up in the polls. I am just praying I get to keep this insurance and finally got and get on with things.

Thanks-

C

Hi Clifford:

I used to live in LA, just go the UCLA website. There are a whole bunch of liver specialist and gastroentronolgist who work at medical plaza next to UCLA. Did you have a biopsy done?
