I just rembered My wife's Mother who lived with us had an internal slow bleed We said slow leak She had standing order to draw blood onec a week at home

I was given the job of doing her Procrid ??? injection in the beginning  That didn't last to long she would get real weak  and they would give her blood at least every 2 weeks ( for years )  but what a turn around She had too much energy  We used to say time to to the gas station and fill your tank She lasted several years here with us If it wasn't for my wife shee would have been found dead on the floor much earlier But she died at 87? Old age and orgin failure no real pain she went quitley It wasent the blood loss that got her it was  old-age

And good luck with the transfusion's  The should bring you back up to speed

Sorry to hear this, Ken, but try not to worry, other people here have needed to be given blood when their levels have dropped below a certain point, and they`ve all said it made them feel a lot better.

What are your blood levels now, do you know your latest results?

Take care, Jill xx

ps - I`ve moved this to `On Treatment` for you.
