Glad for the encouragement and need to hear about your results and as where they put you in the length of treatment weeks.  Have had to stay close to the toilet, seem to be only side effect so far could be the 100 gms of yougart or what ever it is that I take Vic with. and I weigh 238 lbs and only on the 600 of rib.

Hey Bill.. I'm shootin for the 24 weeker.. I'm a big pusher of the probiotics to help with the backside. Lord knows if I forget it. I am  not quite 5 2 and when I started this gig I had been sick so I was down to 120 lbs ..of course having to eat the 20 grams of fat with the Incevick I have gained 8 lbs but I really don't care. The interferon gives me muscle spasms in my neck & leg twitches.  My eyes are so dry I have to use drops and my vison has changed and I just had my glasses changed in April..Sometimes I am sensative to light and noise I have a list as long as my 2 legs..lol  Mostly piss and moan to the dogs and they wag their tails .. Hang in their we all are due our T- shirts... Keep Calm and carry on the treatment..  all the best  peace and love MJ

Hey Bill

Oddball now that's a term my Dad used when I was a kid.. made me smile.. I totally get it I'm there dude if it is out of the blue or off the books its me.. I think we had our blood transfusion about the same time.. I still don't feel that great, I go for labs in 2 weeks.  I am on the Incevick, I will start week #11 tomorrow.. They reduced my Ribavirin to just 600 mg a day .

My med intake Incevick  2 pills  3 X a day     750 mg

                        Ribavirin 1 pill    1 X a day     600 mg  ( was a 1000 mg per day )

                        Inteferon            1 X a week 180 mcg

Now I am curious since I am a small person the doc said she did my doses accoriding to my body wt. and from what I read on here I take or was taking as much as folks that are bigger than me?  just wonder if sometimes they are really paying attention?

Hopefully the Vit. will finish up the job, and you are right from what my doc said the Riba is the culprit on the anemia and the shortness of breath..

You just march to your own drummer, fingers crossed and a prayers you will kick dragon's butt once and for all... all the best peace and love MJ

Finally eh Bill, my blood was low too, i am also on Vict with only 3 Riba a day and 135 peg. Get blood test in couple weeks..The Victrelis side effect not bad. Just try and eat 100 calories or you start burbing them up and thats awful. My side effects all seem to be from the Riba..Well good luck bud..

Well seen doctor and as of 2:00 p.m. I have started the Vict. 12 per day.  Hemo was at 100 and he hopes with eprex can keep me at least around 85, still low but still only treatment mood left.  only doing 3 rib per day and shot.  Doctor figures the Vict will hammer my hemo, but what I have been reading the hemo is most effected by Rib, anyways happy to start and yes I know as some of my friends have told me, they started treatment in Juneand are coming up to their 24 week viral load check.  I will have had 10 weeks of just peg and rib and on December 21 they said will check viral load and if to continue treatment.  Doctor said I do not fit into any of the 24, 36, 48 week treatment slots, but never really fit anywhere any hows Just happy to be moving a head.
