Help u get SSI? Attorney only gets a portion for helping.

Hi Suzanne, my heart goes out to you as I write my reply.   I was wondering how you were getting on but had no idea you would be having so much difficulty.   I`m not familiar with the US social security system and I`m really not sure where you can go from here to deal with your health and financial problems, but it sounds like you need some urgent treatment for those nasty infections for a start.  Has your family doctor given you anything to treat them?  Is there anywhere you can get to where you can receive free medical treatment?

I don`t know whether this will help but the Hep C Advocate site has a National HCV Helpline.  Maybe they will be able to point you in the right direction at least.

My car broke and I cant fix it. A taxi would be up to 75.00 one way, plus 50.00 to the Dr and 25.00 to the lab.

I have no income, ssi turned me down as well as medicaid for my state, so now I have a immune system problem. I have gross mini boils for a few months now under my eye lids, and giant white heads surrounded by what looks like psoriasis.  I have the rash from the shots, which is infected, I never knew I cant see there, but its all around my belly button and itchy as heckTHey got me this new shot, it took awhile for me to sell something to go to the Dr they also set it up so I could go to my family Dr down the street. 10.00 visit and 4.00 dial aride.

So all the sudden since I didnt have 14.00 immediately the GI decided I have to go all the way and spend all that money for the monthly shot.

Im at my wits end. Ive sold about anything of value, Ive got my utilities so low, I dont use a heater. And now this. Im done with treatment, thank god, you know that stuff is evil, I have to say that now that Im in the prediciment Im in, had I known I would not of started the treatment. The sickness is horrid, my stomach is now destroyed, and I have no immune system or damaged immune system. The specialist is where the GI Dr is, so cant do that. My family Dr is not knowledgable about this issue it seems since the infections wont go away.

I have to abandon my house that I own and go to CA but cant til these infections are gone, I dont want anyone to see this or endanger my grandkids and kids of getting something from me.

Im so lost, Im so mad, my own fault didnt plan for my future and let me tell you, what a mistake.

 

Make sure you have it all set up to have enough money to finish and continue treatment, is my only advice, wish I had that advice had no idea it was going this direction, everyone said I could get ssi and didnt.
