Incivek rash started week 7 - ancles, knees and few more single spots here and there. No big surface so far, but enhanced a bit over the last week. Itching only before bed time.

Using tons of moisturisers and having a scheduled visit to my hepatologist coming Thursday. See what he says. 4 more weeks to go. Would hate to stop early. Must make it!

Brian, the week after Invicek was the worse!
My skin felt like it was burning up and stinging!
I suggest go as long as possible.
The creams, Benadryl helped. Sleep helped
The most.

I was a day away from stopping Incevek due to the rash that covered my body. I was trying to go all the way to my last two weeks. I was Rx Hydroxzine and tranquilizer. Stay moisturizer and tough it out as long as you can stand it. I'm still itching a week later but it's getting much better. It was hell. Best Brian

Hey Julie.. as Alan said some have had to stop early and seemed to faired well.. I hope your itching subsides soon... I wanted to take a hammer to my timer.. It is the best thing not to hear that dang beeping.. hang in there..all the best MJ

My favorite part is not having to wake up early to take meds anymore! Yipee!

Mostly good news. Several others have had to the same thing, some even earlier than you. But they seem to be doing fine, and checking in as UND on schedule. I have said it before, but based on my very limited frame of reference, it seems the ones that take the worst beating from the Incivek triple get the best results. Good luck to you, and try to enjoy your recovery from that purple pill nightmare without worrying too much.

I emailed my RN who forwarded the email to my MD.Due to my rash (and open lesions) they want me to stop the incivek now (2 weeks early). That is good news and bad news, isn't it?
