I haven't started yet, but this sounds a bit better than the 'flu' feeling I have read about. But I am sure it is hard not getting a good nights sleep.

Genotype 3.  Treatment started on 1/11/2013 with Ribavirin and Pegatron.  Week 4 UND.  Week 12 UND.  Ended treatment on 6/28/2013.  Six months post treatment 12/04/2013 SVR.

I feel wired after the shot for three nights I can't sleep without heavy meds. I'm tired at times but no flue symptoms. Wk. 14 HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

I should have been clearer.  Today is shot #33.  Like all, my first shot was a flu-like sickness.  Every shot thereafter, I am 'jacked'...ultra focused...sometimes I feel like I'm waiting for the world to catch up...maybe, to a degree, I'm sligthtly manic for a day or two....but interestingly, I sleep like a baby...I'm just wired when awake for a day or two.  I've never read of this being a side effect.  My nurse says she has heard of this but didn't elaborate any further.   My family has recognized when I've taken my shot based on my intense behaviour.

I am wired 4 out of 7 days, its prob all the meds combined, 23rd week for me. You kinda get used to it. Well not really.

After taking my interferon shot, I'm wired for about 36 hours.  Are there others with similar experience?
