Oh, I am. I could barely make the 12 weeks! If I had to do 44 weeks, i seriously think it would kill me.

Hi Mike,

Hopefully life will improve now Incivek is finished. With your Hb issues, be grateful that you're not on Victrelis for 44 weeks. Cheers.

I got released last night. Received a total of 4 units of blood in the past 6 days with my h/h stable at 8.2 / 25. Turns out the Invicek really tore me up. No need for surgery right now. I'm trying some type of nitro ointment mix down there to help promote healing. I'm so glad that I completed Invicek. That was one rough medication to get through. They cut back my Rib to 600mg a day but they hope to slowly increase that back to 1200mg a day again. Being anemic sure does suck!

Developed cellulitis on the abdomen / pannus and was admitted 1/24. Very painful and uncomfortable situation. It was also discovered my H/H went down to 7.5 and 24 My last dose of Invicek was on 1/20. I received 2 units of PRBC on 1/25 which brought up my H/H to 8.2 and 25. On 1/26 my H/H went back down 7.4 and 23. Just got another 2 units of cells and H/H now at 8.7 and 28. The team taking care of me thinks I have an active bleed going on caused by the Invicek. They might scope me today. At least my cellulitis is resolving nicely but it looks like I'll be stuck in the hospital for a while longer When I find out more I will post about it. They say the 3rd time is a charm but for me it just sucks.
