Boceprevir seems more like starting out in the warm pool
that gradually gets colder until you reach a minimum and stays like
that until ending therapy.

Nick thanks for the reply. I love your comparison and I can actually visualise myself in that pool!!!

I think the thing that puts me of telepravir is the rash as last time on double therapy I experienced some problems with rash and itching. But the shorter duration appeals as well!

Treatment failed 2009 after 19 weeks. Treatment stopped after 4 weeks in Feb 2013 as viral load did not drop. The search continues....... again.......

Well hello everyone I'm back again!! Ok I went for my appointment with the nurse yesterday and I have been given start dates. Now the problem is when I went in I thought I would be going for triple therapy with boceprivir and not be given a choice, as this is what my consultant had said to me back in July.  But when I went in the nurse has left the decision with me.

The more I think about it the more stressed and anxious I feel as I don't want to make the wrong decision.  I must say the nurse seemed more in favour of telepravir but I also felt that was because she kept saying the boceprivir schedule is more complicated for them, with the 4 week lead in.  I need to inform them of my decision by Monday.

Now my question is, I know they are both similar but which one do I choose? 

If you were given the decision what would you go for?
