This has happened to me every winter but this year has been the worst. Very painful. I have been cutting away the dead, dry skin and letting heal, using lots of hand lotion.

Has anyone else on treatment had problems with their fingertips splitting open? I drink plenty of water and use moisturizer several times a day, but my fingers keep splitting open. At least 1 new split shows up every day. It looks and feels like a paper cut but its not. i carry a tube of superglue with me to glue them back together and it works pretty good, but its kinda getting old. Does any one have any other ideas as to what i can do to prevent this?
