And best of luck to you.  Sounds like the new stuff coming out will be a lot more effective.  If a 4 times TX  can finally get to UND, it sounds very promising.  I wish it was out now for everyong.  But at least it is coming and there is hope.  Stay healthy!

Genotype 3.  Treatment started on 1/11/2013 with Ribavirin and Pegatron.  Week 4 UND.  Week 12 UND.  Ended treatment on 6/28/2013.  Six months post treatment 12/04/2013 SVR.

;/ damn, well nada left to do other than to wait for new meds. Maybe try to get into some clinical trial?

Sorry to hear that. I'm in sort of the same boat. 3 strikes. As i said i'm somewhat relived to accept that Interfreon won't work so I'm also on a wait for the better Drugs  I still think of trying again and would with something new Like what gsx1250f  is talking about. There's alot coming out. Waiting is hard.  Hope you get what you need to rid yourself of this. We have this fourm to get some of the fustrations out for now.

Harvoni started 12-12-14 for 24 wks PrevTX Geno 1 stage 3 cirrhosis - non resp Int/ ribv. Started Trial  in Aug 2011 -July 2012 into Incivek relapsed  Feb 2013 Had 72 weeks on interferon & Riba.

Lots of great stuff on the Horizon..Still need to take care of your damaged liver in the mean time..Things can and do get much worse if you choose not to listen to the doc's.

so i just left my doctors office.  turns out i am resistant to the protease inhibitor, not the interferon.  that would explain my monumental drop, but not to und in the first 4 weeks.  anyway, now i am back up.

said i should just practice some good clean livin' for now, but i broke that rule this past weekend.  new things are on the market, good stuff happens everyday.

still sucks @$$, but not really anything i can do.  i'll check back from time to time, and in the menwhile, wish all of you the best!

geno 1a started peg interferon/ribavirin/incivek 12.07.12.  vl 7.5 copies (32 million) at start. 2.4 (251) as of 01.07.12 vl went up to 5.5 as of 03.05.13. treatment stopped.
