I might just have to! I'm a pretty calm placid person and don't like confrontation but I just feel I'm not getting the support I need.

If you want to get their attention quick. Say to them, "I'm sorry, I'm not satisfied with that answer. May I speak with the patient advocate please?" you'll get some results with that.

Why is it that every time I go for my appointment and see my nurses feel that I'm being patronised? they do ask me how I'm doing but don't really listen to my reply.

They just don't seem to take anything I say seriously today I asked for stronger pain relief but was told that the doctor isn't in so I will have to wait till Wednesday. I am having problems with my ear where it becomes blocked and my throat feels swollen to the extent i get out of breath. Again she said the doctors not here to check you today wait till Wednesday.
