Harvoni started 12-12-14 for 24 wks PrevTX Geno 1 stage 3 cirrhosis - non resp Int/ ribv. Started Trial  in Aug 2011 -July 2012 into Incivek relapsed  Feb 2013 Had 72 weeks on interferon & Riba.

That is great news.  Happy to hear your liver is functioning well enough that you won't be needing a transplant either.  Keep up the positive thoughts and stay strong.  You will make it and are an inspiration to me.  smile

Good news from my NP today!
She said if I reach SVR, I won't need a transplant!
My liver is functioning well. She said I am
Suppose to be worn out w such low blood counts.
I am
So encouraged by all the SVR of people on
The forum. There are been heart breaks too
But more success than not.
I am
Anxious as can be to WANT to swim, ride bikes
And plant lots and lots of flowers again,
I want to go for a motor cycle drive too!
I told my doctor that I don't resemble the person
I was a year ago :) she said in a year I won't resemble
Myself now!!! Just thankful for y'all and for HOPE!

Joanne, glad you're feeling a little better.  I'm planning on celebrating your finish up with you (in spirit - maybe I'll make a meatloaf). The fortitude, spirit and compassion you have shown to me and others is remarkable. Youre a fantastic person, survivor and rock solid. While others have had easier journeys down what turns out to be a baneful, slippery slope; your strength has been a support to us all. Thank You.
