Talked to nurse this morning and am posting this info in case this question pops up for someone else. She said not to worry about high monos and that the number to look at is the total of all - monos, neutros, and others on the WBC panel as all should total 100. If some are low, others will be high...

Just got my lab work back for this week and noticed that my monocytes are high at 17 (standard is 4- 12). Does this mean anything for purposes of treatment? Neutrophil slightly low too. Everything else looks good! Just not sure if I need to worry about the monos since that tests active infection I thimk
