Hi Ed,

Good luck with the 12 week VL. All we can do is try. I'd try to get off the Paxil as soon as possible. It's very potent and is metabolised by the liver.  Cheers.

Geno 1b, IL28B CT,  x3 prior relapser,  ex-cirrhotic, 75 yo, did 48 weeks with Victrelis/Peg./Riba.  VL 1.28m at start, UNDET. at 8 ,12 ,16 ,24 ,30  and 48 weeks.  EOT 15 Feb 2013 , UNDET. at EOT + 28 weeks. SVR!  Still Undet. at EOT +5 years

 It's been on my mind this whole treatment after failing 2 previous times. But all we can do is try.

thanks, i'm very hopeful to und by 12 wks, whats on the back of my mind is my last tx. 12 wk of tx and did'nt respond to peg & riba in 06 and here we are again 2013 with triple therapy.can you say lot of anxiety  going with me!!!cry.gif  another question Will this paxil harmful the liver function??

hi all, I'm little concern about a phone call from my doctor today.  This whole month i've been fighting with my emotional rollor coaster called riba rage.  Two days ago i put in a call to the nurse and said i cant take it anymore{The rage or the rollor coaster}. The doctor called me and he's putting me on paxil at a low dose. What has me concern is my 8 week blood work is saying im still detectable. started on 3/1/13 at 7.9 mil, 4 wk at vl 3.3 mil, now at 8 wk 370 and this mean im still detectable.  The doctor express concern that if at 12 weeks im still detectable he may have to take me off tx.  next week when i go to the doctor office i'll get copy of all blood work and i'll have better numbers.
