maybe I'm. just having a really negative week or something. I read that w vic the 12 week lab isn't a really important one it's ur 24 week but even still. who the heck become. ddetected again after under at 12 weeks and svrs

1/18/13 -  VL 1.5mil triple therapy with boceprevir

2/3/14 - relapsed. 1.7ml

 

6/28/14 - started solvadi interferon and ribavirin for 12 weeks

7/28/14 - week 4 undetected dosage reduction of rib and peg

 

11/2/14 und 4 weeks post eot

Ask you doctor what help is available for you, Nicole, there should be a way to get your procrit even if you can`t afford it yourself.  I can understand you feeling discouraged with so long to wait till your next vl test, but you weren`t far off being und at 12 weeks, and you`re still in with a fighting chance otherwise you wouldn`t still be on tx.  Don`t forget that tiredness, depression and anxiety are all common sx, especially when your hgb levels are falling.  Once you`ve started the procrit you`ll probably feel a lot better.  Hang on in there and try to find a way to relax and cheer yourself up a bit.   Let us know how it goes.  smile

I'm just feeling super discouraged I'm so broke can't afford this procrit I feel so damn tired I feel like I'm missing out on my son. my 12 week labs came back det less than 43 after I was under at 8 weeks. I don't want to give up but I know myself and I'm starting down a negative downward spiral

I was first going to do triple treatment. I had a one months supply. When I went on this trial I gave my triple tx meds to my RN study....to give to a needy patient. It made me happy.

Geno type 1A Started Abbott clinical trial mid Jan 2013. :-)

Viral load when I started this trial 4.75million  Went 12wks on placebo and started real meds on 4/5/13 after 1wk  on real meds 25 after UND @3wks,6wks.w00t: Done trial 6/27/13 and still UND.

There are ways around this. Is your doctor up to giving you an injection? I got a couple of freebies. Thinking of you. Karen:)

don't give up! indeed doctors can have some leftovers of meds from previous patients (my mate got 2 interferon shots like that). I decided to take loans in case i need more drugs. Just bought this morning Neupogen, and i am saving money so i can buy Procrit or more Neupogen injections.

You can always ask for compassion use direct from a company I believe.....

You should probably talk to your doctor. I recently had to have an injection of Neupogen and my doctor had some on hand from someone else who finished treatment and didn't need it anymore, so I didn't have to pay anything for that injection. So you never know. Your doctor may be able to help you out.
