I`m glad you`re feeling calmer now, Lucy.  smile  Your Hgb is low but better than it was before your transfusion, and it`s good that your doctor has increased your riba dose back up to 600mg.   Let us know about your next results, keep going!

stopped Vit at week 24 but 34 of peg and rib for 48. rib is only 3 pills and yes my AlT score jumped. it started at 91 and dropped with Vitt to 34, 32, and 28 then after Vit stop and one week only after it has climbed to 65, see doctor on thursday will ask him what is going on with liver enzimes and why he does not do a Ast to get a better ideal about the virus.

Thanks a lot. I know ALT is up a little bit, that means nothing ,but I feel so anxious. Your reply makes me calm down. 
Accroding to my doc`s instrucion, I am taking 400mg riba in the morning, 200mg in the evening from today

Hi Lucy, try not to worry, it`s not unusual for ALT levels to fluctuate while on treatment and it hasn`t gone up by much.  Lots of things can make it go up and It doesn`t mean the virus is back.

Interferon treatment does affect thyroid function so I expect your family doctor is having to adjust the dose of your synthroid as you go along.  The main thing is it`s being closely monitored, so best to follow your doctor`s advice.

no Today I  went to see my RN. Depending on my week 16 blood result. HGB:102  RBC:2.97   WBC:2.9  PLT:100 NEUT:1.5

My RN ask to  add 1 pill RIBA to 2 pills in the morning, 1 pill in the evening. keep the pegasys 180. Keep watching on my weekly blood test.

 

Bad thing is ALT:62  is higher than normal (<50). I am so worrying about it. Anyone experiences the same situation? I am worrying about if virus is coming back.

Another bad thing is my TSH(0.03) is very low. All the time, I have high TSH with taking 0.05mg synthroid to keep it normal level before my treatment . But after I started my first month treatment, TSH(10.6) was getting to be very high, so that my family doc ask me to take 0.1mg synthroid. 

But from yesterday blood test result, my TSH(0.03) is very low again. So my family doc ask to take 0.075mg sythroid. 

I am surprised why my TSH changed greatly.

My RN told me my treatment is 26 shots with pegasys.  Tonight is #17.  9 to go.
