Great to know.  I was not told his actual numbers.  But the good news is that I found out yesterday that he is is still undetectable after 12 weeks.

Hi Carol, as I understand it, a  fractionated test breaks down the total bilirubin into direct and indirect bilirubin, so that the doctor can get more information about why the levels are raised.  High bilirubin levels on treatment are usually caused by the ribavirin, so there`s probably nothing to worry about.   Do you know how high you husband`s levels are?

My husband's doctor said that his bilirubin was high this week, so they are going to run a fractionization test.  Has anyone heard about this?

Thanks,

Carol
