Hi Tig56,

I wouldn't worry about having a small VL at week 4. If you were Undet. at week 4, you wouldn't need the Victrelis, as old studies showed that Geno1 patients who were Undet. after only 4 weeks of Peg. and Riba, achieved SVR ( with just Peg and Riba). I include a link to the new definition of RVR with Victrelis. Cheers.

Geno 1b, IL28B CT,  x3 prior relapser,  ex-cirrhotic, 75 yo, did 48 weeks with Victrelis/Peg./Riba.  VL 1.28m at start, UNDET. at 8 ,12 ,16 ,24 ,30  and 48 weeks.  EOT 15 Feb 2013 , UNDET. at EOT + 28 weeks. SVR!  Still Undet. at EOT +5 years

there is even, my hepa mentioned, extreme version of RVR (UND @ week 2), but it is not used yet officially, since they haven't done/completed stats does it has influence on SVR. In any case, earlier UND you get, better chance to attain SVR.

there is difference in RVR and therapy duration according to genotypes.

Thanks for all of the positive input everyone! I'm doing everything possible to give myself every opportunity to succeed at this. Is there info you can direct me to on RVR data?  I saw a brief mention of it but nothing informative. Thanks!

i missed my RVR "badge" on 4th week by tiny bit (was @ 51 IU/ml doh!), on 8th week i was UND (just Riba+Peg) you will be for sure UND @ 8th week

EOT + 12 weeks=SVR, and EOT +26 weeks=Cured!

Hi Tig56,

Those are great results after the leadin! Not many are Undet. after the leadin, but if you are undet. at 8 weeks ( after 4 weeks of Victrelis), that is now classed as a RVR. You're on your way. The Victrelis may cause your Hb to drop. Cheers.

The rest are WNL

 

HCV RNA : 16264  <43 IU/mL    Down from 4.95 million

HCV RNA : 4.21  <1.63 Log IU/mL

 

i was hoping for an UND but these were the 4 week Peg/Riba results. Next results will include the first 4 weeks of Vic too. Hopefully those results will show UND.
