The fog causes mind to feel like a vegetable!
Forgetfulness, things just don't really register,
Focusing is hard, loud noises can be bothersome.
It's like the brain is resting and it takes
Lots of concentration to stay focus.
I was in process of selling a company my first
Few months on treatment. I was exhausted
But the last few months on tx the fog settled
In and My sentences became hard to finish,
It's like the lights are on BUT NO ONE IS HOME!
I am three months post tx and sassy as ever:)
Please be patient w him.

Yep brain fog is there all right what I did was made an aggreement not to make any major decisions while on treatment and ran things by my partner, probably depended on her to much, she left after week 40 of treatment, so what I did was got a hold of another guy and he is my sounding board, also I use a lot of post it notes, but still like I posted once this brain fog is like before, "where is my coffee" and brain fog is did I have a coffe.

Hi Mena!  It sounds like Angelo is definitely suffering from what we call `brain fog`.  Confusion, forgetfulness, difficulty thinking clearly, are all common side effects, although it does vary from person to person and it`s worse for some more than others.  A lot of people find their cognitive abilities are reduced while on treatment, and tiredness and stress don`t help either, so it`s best to slow down and `go with the flow` when feeling like that.

If you type `brain fog` into the search box at the top of the page you`ll find some good examples of other peoples` experiences, and it sounds like you`ve got a pretty good idea of what it`s like yourself.

Good to hear Angelo`s nausea has eased off now anyway... and no more Compazine!

Take care, you`re doing a great job!  smile

Good morning everyone!  I hope today is a better day for all of you.

Just wondering if someone would please describe more in details what " Brain Fog feels like"!

Actually I have a pretty good idea since I have experinced it myself after stopping Xanax or right now while under so much stress from worring about my

husband.

Still I will like to know how it affects someone who is going through this treatment. Details please!

Angelo seems so confused  and he is aware of it.  Last night and this morning no nausea after taking his pills and that was with no anti-nausea med.

That compazine really did a job on him! I am glad I realized it in time that the benefits did NOT outweigh the problems it was causing.

Thanks for any info.

Mena
