Hi Lon,

Sorry for referring to you as Lori - I was on my ipad and did NOT have my glasses on!

Malcolm is right about the treatment situation. It is something that I must really think about as well. My nurse said that I would not be taking riba with the interferon and 7977, but she could be wrong. I will wait until my appt. in December to see what the doctor says and what my options are. I hope all works out for you and good luck to you!!!

I think the bigger questions is when is the drug that will accompany 7977 get approved so you don't have to take interferon with it.

I took 7977 and the BMS drug 790052 (?) with riba and some people took it without riba and we all were cleared. I experienced practically no sx at all. The point of 7977 was no interferon but I guess they'll get it approved quicker w/interferon.

Hi Lon,

I haven't seen anything published about the Sofosbuvir date. As a cirrhotic, I would face a difficult decision when it is released.  Would I want to use Sofosbuvir with Peg and Riba, or would I wait until Ledipasvir is approved as well?  I guess it would depend on the final data from the Trials, but failing Rx with Sofos/Peg/Riba would prevent me from further Sofos Rx. It will be a dilemma facing a few people.

Hi Lori,

From what I understand it should be around Dec this year or possibly early next year. I failed triple therapy this year and my drs office called to reschedule my oct appt to dec. The dr said that is when this medication would be available. I hope this helps.

Hello,

Has anyone heard anything lately on the 7977 release date?  Last year they were projecting possibly early 2014.  Any news that you can share would e appreciated.

Thanks,

Lon
