I wish I could give you a big hug Nicole!  Kudos to you, especially with the work load you kept up with, and a son to look after. Wow.

Llama lashes?  I think I'm getting those too!

Take care, and keep on keepin' on.

Yesterday was my last day of pills but u still had a bottle of vic and decided to just take the rest w my leftover rib today. Las. Dart last week. I have one procrit shot ive been saving for the Eot. I just felt like writing this as a closing to my TX. My last injection felt surreal. The time flew by. I feel I have more energy even though I think it's all in my head because I know I'm about done. I feel as though I just slept for 6 months of my life even though through TX I managed to work a nursing job in labor and delivery w emergent situations 12 hr days. And I also was picking up time at a nursing home. (single person household) all I can think of right now is not taking anything for granted after being so tired for just 6 months. I can't wait to work out again and enjoy my 6 year old. Poor kid says I'm queen of naps. He's such a good boy though. My worst side effect was fatigue. I was so lucky and my heart goes out to people who struggle through this. I lost a lot of hair but whatever. I know it'll grow back. I actually gained 10 pounds even though I was on vic. I think the ssri did that to me. I had sun poisoning twice damn photosensitivity. I'm hoping I can now stop feeling ashamed of myself and feel more self worth. I plan on no meds anymore doing more of a holistic approach to life. My fears are because I treated before (my mom's insurance dropped me so I wasn't a relapser or nonresponder) that maybe I should have treated longer but I trust my doctor. I responded quite well. I keep telling myself I'm not going to stress the relapse situation. If it happens I'll deal w it then. There are two things I will miss about triple therapy though. My llama lashes and being able to nap whenever and not feeling bad about it. I hope everyone stays strong. Know one understands how we feel but us while on TX. Its tough! Good luck to everyone I hope someday hep c will be a thing of the past. Talk to you guys in Feb after I get my 24 week lab. Send prayers and positive vibes my way please. Svr fingers crossed. Thank goodness for this site. You guys are awesome knowledgeable and supportive. Nicole

Very well done, Nicole, you`ve done so well working those long hours throughout your treatment and looking after your son, and it can`t have been at all easy for you.  You can hold your head up and be proud of what you`ve done, there`s no shame in getting through a tough 6 months of treatment to get your life back on track, it takes a lot of guts and determination.

All very best wishes for a speedy recovery and SVR, keep us posted on your progress, we`re always here for you!    ~ Jill

ps - How many victrelis pills were left in the last bottle?!  wink
