I am happy to hear that you are close to completing the Incivek therapy.  That was a very rough 12-14 weeks for me.  I felt like a new person after completing the Incivek and getting a shot of Procrit.  Now I am at 34 weeks and it is getting old again.  I think I am just wearing down some.  I have worked full time during most of my treatment.  Fatigue and nausea has been my major complaint, and not being able to eat during the day.  I still feel better than when taking the Incivek. I am sharing this because I have heard the same from several others.  Hang in there and do what your body tells you.  Hopefully you have better times in your near future.

Hep C 1a since probably 1981.  Incivek, riba and interferon-48 weeks.  UND at weeks 2-4-6-8-10-12-16-20-24.  Previously Interferon alone for 6 months non-responder.  SVR 48 weeks 12/11/14

I'm rootin' for you and a good lab result. smile Me too, as far as sick goes. I'm hanging in there. Did shot 21/24 last night. Feeling a bit more anemic this week. It might be the heat too. This is the hottest it's been in San Diego all summer. I did labs today. I'll post my results when I get them. Take care! Oh yes, movies are great. Especially the more positive ones..biggrin and Brian, hang in there buddy. It's only temporary

     thanks for asking,only 6 more DAYS of incevik! have never been this sick for so long in my life. off to new dr. tomorrow and will post details later.

recently took your suggestion and watched old movies 2 weekends ago. i found the wizard of oz,flipper and to sir w/ love to rejuvinate me immensely. hope you're feeling well and staying strong.

     sorry to hear the sx arrived this quicklyno ,it was day 3 for me.... i have to concur w/kellie,it means the meds are really working! i was 0 und on day 17 and still continue to be. being that you're younger i 'm certain you'll do just as well. stay strong and fight that rash ASAP. i,m on day 78 and still have rash,the only place it missed was my face. also, i found that i mistakenly wasn't consuming the correct amt of fat,which led to severe rectal issues. start searching for sx helpers,they were a godsend to me.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear the Incivik is kicking in early. It happened to me too within 5 days. Same burning skin, and a little diarrhea. Water really helped move things along. A lot of it. I drank maybe a little under a gallon a day. The good news is: its a very good sign, meaning it's working. Stay in contact with your doc during this time. When my face started swelling my doc had me take a pic of it and email it to her. Is your doc able to receive info electronically? My husband found a Solarcaine Spray with aloe vera for me. It worked well in cooling the hot spots.

Hang in theresmile this will only be temporary and the medicine is doing it's job.

Hi Brian and sheescraftee,

I've moved your post into 'On Treatment' so you can both post here.  Posts tend to get lost down the bottom in Partners and Supporters. Hope you don't mind.

Brian, sounds as though the Incivek is kicking in. For the rash and anorectal issues, many Members have given suggestions . Use the search tool. I hope the Sx can be managed. Cheers.

Bad diarrhea that last more than a couple of days was always one of the main things my Doctor asked me if I had during visits. Good to talk to your health professional about it and rashes if they persist.

Hi  both !

Sorry for your suffering, any medecine which could help the side treatment  ? about diarreah, I used boiled rice I had cooked in lot of water, then mixed cooked rice and its water together to  make a kind of cream/sirop,  and had this for two days .. diarrhea was gone :) it's babies receipte we use and it works really fine, you can also add steam cook carrot with it. Also   lot of water of course (drink it warm).

We are 6 days into treatment and now the sx are kicking in. He is not feeling well at all. He is on triple therapy and I think it all just hit him these last two days. I feel bad because there is nothing I can do. His skin is burning and on fire, his face is red and gets a bit swollen and having really bad diarreah. Very very tired and still work full time. I wish I could help him more. Just feeling so bad for him. Hard to see him hurting
