Well it's so good to be done and I can only hope that 3 times a charm. I get to see my liver doc on the 28th and I guess I'll find out when he will PCR me. The recover so far has be suprising good. I can start to do things with out stopping for breath constantly. I don't feel nauseated any more and I  feel hungry again. I developed Gout last night and couldn't walk all day until I got a my GP to write me a prescription of Naproxen. I can't believe how fast it works n the swelling and pain. They also make me feel head stoned but in no pain.  Thanks for all the good cheer and best wishes. Hepcat60 hope you can hang in for the best chances. I'll try and keep you all posted and troll the boards from time to time. Cheers.

Congrats Jack.I am hoping to complete 48.  I have 9 more shots.  My rash is back and my Dr. is considering stopping the Riba.  She said I should still be clear after 40 weeks.  My rash is improving so maybe I can make it in.   I find that  these last weeks are tough.  I am still working, but am limping to the finish line.

Hi Jack,

Congrats, and welcome to the 48-weeker Club! I found the Riba Rage subsided over the first few weeks and an anxious mellowness appeared. Good luck for the VL tests. Cheers.

Hey Jack

Super Congrats to you for making it to the end, no easy feat.

Yes the rage will dissipate in a few weeks then slowly trail off for 6 months.

Hoping all goes well from here out.

you can do it, and I am sure you can see the end Near the end  I had two big beach towels and an ordinary one.  I would put one down on the bed and the small one on the pillow.  Would change these two or three times a night, over treatment for 6 weeks and every once and a while sweats will come back, we are all cheering for you and yes all the other side effects are leaving and amaingly this is the best  that I have felt in 6 years go teddy go

Hey keep on going, I can tell you that life gets so much better, I have been finished treatment for four weeks, cane away until ice comes, breath back, weight coming back, taste returned, seperated from wife so she does not get to enjoy the extra energy or cheerfulness. A hard battle and did not believe quality of life could improve this much over such a short time. You wll be successful this time

I am proof the 48 weeks will end!
It certainly takes time to recuperate. Those
Last 4-6 weeks are HARD ON THE MIND AND BODY.
You have come too far to stop now.
Keep giving it your all.
Sleep as much as possible so time passes
Quickly.
Cheering you all on!

Hi Jack,

Keep truckin man-you're almost there. I think the 48 weekers on Victrelis deserve a special medal, compared with those doing the 'easy' 48 weeks of Incivek!  Just joking!!

My doc said that only about 50% of his patients finish the Victrelis 48 weeks, so give yourself a pat on the back.

The improvement starts immediately, but you will be lost without those 18 caps / day. When you finish, take it easy. It takes time to get rid of the Riba. Cheers mate.

Very tired and very fatigued. Seen the doc yesterday and I will be the very first one to have complete the treatment. Many players have or had to quit ether  of the triple combos. I'm on Victerlais and they had me reduce my riba by 1 one tab to 5 a day and I have to do Eprex every week as well. I guess they had quite a few that were on the Inivicit go chaotic and quite a few battle with suiside attempts and the feeling of it. I had my spouse to rely on and home care to make me a meal during the day. My wife just started stress leave for a month. I sure hope it helps her to cope with me and this treatment.
