Hang in there Brian, like Caroline said, keep your eye on the prize. It is worth it. You will see.

We are all here cheering for you. One day at a time.  Best of luck.

Hi Brian,

Yeah, treatment is tough. You'll probably only do 24 weeks, so you're almost a quarter of the way!  From all accounts, life gets better after the Incivek finishes.  The result will be worth it, so tough it out. Cheers.

After the Incivek ends, things usually get somewhat better. The brain fog usually starts to clear pretty soon, but don't expect to be 100% for quite some time. Treatment can be really tough at times and some days it just doesn't seem to be worth it, but it is. Keep focused, relax when you can and good luck from a fellow Texan.

Hi Brian, what you`re feeling isn`t unusual, many people find the mental sx hard going, I`m afraid.  I know I did, and I didn`t have the additional sides from incivek or victrelis to cope with either.  It`s important to try to keep your life as free from stress as possible while you`re on treatment, and make a point of taking some time out for yourself every day to relax and unwind.

You`re doing very well so far...just take it day by day.  Keep going!

Hi Brian, my husband did 48 weeks of Victrelis and I believe your doing Incivek.  Both have their challenges.  I encourage you to keep your eyes on the prize.  It's tough but you can do it.  Believe in yourself and remember we're here at the forum to support you.  All the best.  Caroline

I just completed Shot #6 and this was a tough week!!! Seems like treatment is wearing me down mentally!!! I used to have more good days than bad ones but now it has been just the opposite!! Anyone else feeling this way??
