During my treatment, I had the same pain, also my creatin level jumped way up.  They sent me to a kidney specialist and he said my kidneys were folding, he reviewed other medications and see Arthrotec and took me off it, he suggested I switch to a herbal. Glucosimine with condrodine and MSM, seems much better, I am also type two diabetic and started to drink the G2 Gator Aid or Costco Zero, much better Creatin levels and kidneys and pain gone

Hi Brian,

Sorry to hear that you are having kidney pain.

I am week 39 of 48 on triple with Bocepravir.

For the last roughly 3 months I have had kidney pain a day or two after taking shots of EPO that help manage the anaemia.

You don't mention it, but was wondering if you are on EPO?

Drinking loads as others mentioned is of course really important, but I have found that if I drink mainly water it often goes 'straight' through and does not hydrate too well.

Although it is of course a personal choice, I find that lemon juice and honey in warm water helps and tastes good as well as herbal teas or diluted fruit juice.

Not sure if any of that is helpful, but I wish you well and hope that you feel better.

Kind regards.

Hey Brian, of course you'll mention that to your doc, so they can check your kidneys out. My NP kept an eye on mine closely during the invicik portion of the treatment. I'm sure you're drinking tons of water too. At least 3 qts, 3 liters or a little less than a gallon daily.

My good thoughts to you Bro. 4 weeks to go of Incivik!

i had similiar problems as well. the ribo affects the kidneys and can raise uric acid & creatine levels. not to worry there's sx helpers for that issue.be well&take care of your self.
