Hi Timothy,

Sorry to hear your news. Life does get better as the drugs leave the system. Just be patient and good luck with the VL tests. Cheers.

Tim, I am very sorry to hear about Travis. I'm sure part of how you are feeling emotionally is related to this. You wouldn't be human if it didn't affect you.

That was a tough tx you were on. It takes time to start feeling better. Sometimes a long time. Take it slow and enjoy being clear of the virus.
Stay as healthy as you can and try to move around some. It helped me to feel better. Keep the faith, you will be ok.

So sorry for your loss, Im sure with you having been on treatment its even harder. Seems like these treatments are like an emotional rollercoaster, and you are never sure which way its headed next. Plus you have real life dropping the occasional bomb on top of it  and you completely lose track sometime. Don't hesitate to talk to your doc about it if you feel things are getting away from you. Trying to deal with all my problems on my own has been a root cause for most of my life's malfunctions. Sounds like you have a better future ahead. Enjoy it

Hey Timothy

Our hearts are with you as you deal with the loss. The loss of a loved one is especially hard when they are so very young but the bible does hold out the hope of seeing our dead love ones in the future during the resurrection. Quoting from the bible at John 5:28, 29 (with the voice of Jesus being quoted)

28 "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out"

Though your treatment ended with this tragedy you are now on the road to recovery and life will slowly return to a better state.

Hoping the best in your future

matt

Hi Timothy, I'm also very sorry to hear about the loss of your friends son. Whatever the cause, it's a tragedy and an emotional hurdle for all involved. I'll keep all in my thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations on finishing treatment! You're absolutely right about Interferon and the possibility it is causing some emotional issues. It has been the cause of depression in me and many others I know. There are ways to treat that and your doctor should be able to address that for you. Post treatment is full of surprises and as Jill mentioned it can take months to right all of the things those meds changed. Take it slow and let the healing begin. Good luck!

Hi Timothy, good to hear from you again, and great news about your end of treatment UND result!  I know you had a difficult 48 week journey through treatment and it can take weeks, or even months, to start feeling better, so give yourself time to heal and go easy on yourself.  It`s a huge achievement getting to the end of a long course of tx and it takes a lot of strength and determination, so you can be proud of yourself for that.

Really sorry to hear about your girlfriend`s son, Travis, that`s a dreadful tragedy and it`s bound to be having an impact on how you`re feeling.

Take care, and best of luck with your 12 week VL results and SVR.  Hope things start getting better for you soon, keep in touch.

I have not been posting much. Really have not felt well during treatment. Then 5 days after my last pill, 10/31/2013  another tragedy. My girl friends 22 year old passed on, unexpectedly. So I really don't no how much is from tx or how much discomfort is related to Travis's death. I just know now I have PHD'd people telling me interferon plays heck on the brain chemistry. So on we go....was und at EOT. 336 days of the easy road.
