Yea the old Monkey Butt.  No fun.  I practically lived off of fruit, cereal, and granola bars.  I took in a great deal of fiber each day so I didn't need a supplement.   High fiber granola bars have up to 9 grams of fiber.  I had trouble eating anything other than the fat when on the Incivek.  Good luck.

Ear is uncomfortable at best. I've got a call in to the doc, but I gather my ear is a low priority on this fine Monday morning! Thanks for asking though. Have a good one!

Hey buddy, here's a link to some information at the HCV Advocate. It briefly discusses it on page 3. There is also some good diet (fat) suggestions for you Incivek patients. Best!

Your right seems I read some fiber sups don't go with the Incivek. Use the search here. I took an anti hankey pill from the store every other day or so but fiber, the right kind might be a healthy option. I think the kind that you put in water, search the forum. Also huggies baby wipes until spotless and then smear the area with desiten worked for me. Good luck with your tx Newmex.

Thanks Scruffy, found a spot saying to only use a water soluble fiber, which is what I use, but couldn't find any thing specifically about Incivic.  And on top of that I pretty much do as you suggested. Has cleared up now but for a couple days it would sure get your attention ,lol.

Hope all is going well for you, have a good week!

I am about 9 days into Incivic and am experiencing the common butt burn, OUCH. Have found that using gummi fiber helps considerably but read on I-net that it slows absorbtion with some drugs. It lists several drugs but cant seem to find any thing specific to Teleprevir.  So I am wondering if any one has any ideas or info on this, for sure want to get max amount of  drugs in system, but the fiber gives considerable relief.  Thanks in advance
