Hi Tony,

Thats great news! Congratulations on still being UND and feeling so much better. I wish feeling the way you do so quickly after EOT was the norm too! It's nice to see that there is the possibility. I'm still waiting for that day, hopefully soon. But you go right ahead and blow your horn! You earned every decibel of it. I'm thrilled you and your wife have found happiness and renewed energy in all parts of your relationship and I wish you continued success and a bright Hep C free future!

Good luck,  Tig. biggrin

Short doctor appointment on Friday. He popped his head in just to show lab results and say "...still UND, see in you in 6 weeks. (12 weeks post-tx)"

News keeps getting better as does the way I feel. Still UND, and ALL my labs are within normal range. AST/ALT still in the teens. RBC/WBC back to normal.

Stopped for a while today to take a mental and physical inventory. I feel noticeably better than I did before starting tx.

My pre/during tx muscle and joint aches are gone. I certainly feel more energy than I have had in the past 10+ years. General fatigue and malaise are gone.

My activity level is higher than it was before tx...I find myself just 'doing things' , making plans, organizing, going to the gym, socializing, cleaning house etc...normal stuff.

Wife is glad to have "me" back.

I post this not to blow my own horn, but to hopefully encourage people thinking about tx, on tx or have completed tx. I'd like to think that my experience is the norm and not an exception.

Good job Tony! You're not alone in the nervousness arena. It happens to everybody that cares about their future and remembering what they went through to get where they're at. You played the game by the numbers and all of your tests during and at EOT were exactly what you hoped for. My doctor wouldn't let me get a 6 week test, shoot he didn't want me to do the 12 week test! Kept telling me it's not necessary. I had a laugh over that one and told him there was no way in hell I could wait 6 months to know my status, so I settled for 12 weeks, which is the end of February. Too bad we can't all get together and celebrate a community SVR party! That would be a hoot. Keep up the positive attitude, you've been a great example for everyone! Good luck buddy...

Hey TN

Its great to hear your feeling so well, I'm glad that you have taken the time to list all the ways you have rebounded from the long 6 months of Peg & Riba. Sometimes we hear the negatives and not enough positives so its good to hear your thoughts and the great news.

Its good to feel confident your going to make it to SVR

Had my 6 week post tx blood draw today and meeting with the doc this Friday...and I'm really anxious about it.

I don't really have a reason to be. I was 100% compliant with my meds. No scarring or cirrhosis, fairly healthy, UND at week 8 -EOT and my EOT blood work looked great.

I'm sure it's normal to be a bit anxious.Staying positive that all will be as expected.

I do have to say at 6 weeks post tx that I feel great! Tinnitus is back to pre-tx levels, my energy is back and the clarity of though is amazing. I'm so thankful to have my brain back!

I want to linger in the moment for a while and appreciate coming out of the fog; I don't want to take feeling 'normal' for granted just yet...if that makes sense.

If I do have any lingering tx sides I sure don't notice them. What ever my results this week, it was all worth it.
