Hello Tazkat

Nice to hear from you again, starting treatment is always exciting and this time you have a the best DAA on the market. You know how to pace yourself and all the little things that can make it work for you. This treatment is a lot shorter and before you know it you will UND and almost done.

Cheers

I am on the same mix you'll be on. Only one week down for me but so far it's not bad. Good luck to you this round...good news has been coming from others as far as viral loads going down early on. Let's hope this is the one for us.

HI Taz, that`s great news, no wonder you`re so pleased!

The new Protease Inhibitor you`re referring to is probably Simeprevir (Olysio) which you can`t take because you`ve already been on the triple therapy with Incivek, also a PI.

You should do very well on the Sovaldi + Peg/Riba combination and you`ll be spared all the unpleasant side effects from Incivek this time.

Wishing you all the best of luck with getting your insurance sorted out..keep us posted!  smile  ~ Jill

Hi Kathy,

It's great to hear from you again! All the reports and trials indicate good success for relapser's when given your new triple. After three attempts, this is going to be your turn to say it's over! Your desire to succeed and positive outlook has always been a good example for everyone and I'm sure this will be no different. Except this time it will culminate with a big SVR! You can count on our prayers and you're wise to get all your ducks in a row with insurance. They are being what insurance companies can be most of the time! Preparation pays... Good luck!

went to doc today. they are going to do paperwork to treat me with solvadi. the other one i can't do as she said it was in the family of the protease inhibitor. so the sovaldi interfereon & riba. they will decrease the riba 1/2 of the normal. so waiting to see what happens. it could be 2 months or so b4 i can get on it depending on insurance. please pray.. i am so so ready after 3 failed attempts.. Peace out smile
