Hi Caryn,

im sorry you're ready to go and are now having to wait. Argggh!! This is becoming more frequent because as you were told, there are so many people jumping on this new opportunity to treat, that the supplies are short and the paperwork is overwhelming a standard work contingent. These pharmacies were busy with the recent SOC's, Incivek/Victrelis due to there increased rates of success. Now throw in these new "wonder" drugs and their workload has risen exponentially!

I'm sure these manufacturers are grinning widely as they see the cash cows stampeding the pasture! Word has it they have ramped up production to meet the new demand. Try to get your mind off the wait and ready it for the upcoming cure. Make a plan now for the day you get that report that says SVR and you'll save time getting started on your new Hep C free life! Your time will be here soon, I promise biggrin Good luck on your Tx!

Tig

I was told at my appt. in the middle of Feb. that I would be starting this combo. I was also told it would take 4-6 weeks before I heard anything from my specialty pharmacy. It's been 5 weeks and I still have not heard from them. I called my nurse and she said that they pharmacies are very busy because so may people are treating. Has anyone else had to wait this long?  Just curious as this seems a little strange to me.
