That`s good to hear, John!  I expect it was treatment related, but I can understand you feeling alarmed about having a high temperature and it`s sensible to monitor any unusual symptoms while on treatment.

Undetected at week 2 on solvaldi/rib/interferon:  stayed through week 12 but virus came back as soon as I stopped.  on   Harvoni and ribravirin 24 weeks undetected after two. 8/2/15  12 week EOT  UNDETECTED!  SVR

Hi John!  smile  (I had to smile at the heading you`ve used!)

Your doctor is following the correct protocol by saying you only need to do 12 weeks on the Sovaldi triple therapy, that is the duration given in the published prescribing information for people with genoype 1, and is based on data from the clinical trials. 

I can understand you being concerned after your previous experiences but you`re responding very well indeed to this excellent treatment combo so try not to worry...just keep going!

How are you feeling today, has your fever subsided?

One issue I was going to bring up is although I am undetected at week4 with my history is anyone staying on solvaldi/interferon/riba for more than 12 weeks.  My doctor is pretty firm on 12.
