Hey, I've got one of those! Not a bobble head, but he does talk when I push the button on his back. "Howdy Ho", Scruffy. Heartfelt congrats on being done with that nasty stuff.

You made it!!! It will take a while to deprogram
Your routine. You learn to accept side effects as routine
Let me tell you .....life is going to get better.
It took a while for me as those last few months
were tough. But I had this forum to help me get thru it.
There were few women doing 48 weeks for me to follow.
You have fought a long battle and now the healing
Begins. You will soon be joining the SVR Club.
Don't expect too much too soon!
Tig, I would love to sign up for that vacation
Immediately completing treatment.
At 13 month post tx, I am
Full speed ahead.
Congratulations again on finishing
Happy days are ahead! Relief is huge

Scruff-man,

Love that Mr. Hankey bobblehead.  I've been a fan of Mr. Hankey for many years and I know now is the time to flush him and the tx., while being thankful for both!  Congratulations for completing the journey and may all your moves be smooth from here on out.

Way to go!

Bill

That`s wonderful news, Scruffy, very well done!!  biggrin

You must be overjoyed to have reached your last shot, I don`t know how anyone gets through 48 weeks and stays so cheerful and upbeat, but you have and you`ve been an inspiration!

Just a few more pills to go and you`ll start feeling a lot better, and you can say goodbye to Mr Hankey... his job is done!!

Thanks all

Mr. Hankey is a turd. South Park cartoon, Hankey the Christmas poo. My friends kids turned me on to South Park.  Its hard to believe what they show on tv now but its funny. Any way thanks to every one here. My thoughts are now with the other 48 week'ers that are left along with all here on treatment.

Best wishes for all.

Hi Scruffy,

Congrats on getting to the end buddy. Welcome to the 48-weekers club! I admire your unflagging sense of humour. I lost mine. Cheers.

Yup.  If a smurf and a turd had a baby it would look just like Mr. Hankey.  lol

Hi Scruffy,

I have to tell you, (please forgive me) Mr. Hanley looks just like a big ol' turd! Is that why you've felt like that for 48 weeks? You've had your meds delivered by a big turd!! Well you know what you have to do now, one last flush and bye-bye Mr. Hankey!  Now all you have left is the remaining Ribavirin and then the recovery can begin. Congratulations my friend, you're a true Warrior, one of the last of the 48 weekers. There should be some kind of trust fund set aside for you and the others that made it through a year of living hell. A fund to allow you a vacation with your family and support group to celebrate a job well done! I know you deserve it.....

Good luck,  Tig

WAY TO GO SCRUFFY.... You did it! You were such a great help to others along the way too. I never would have survived the 13 odd weeks I did without your support! Here is a huge high 5! (someday you can give me one back when I've completed my next treatment)!
