Hi,

I just began week 5 SOVALDI/OLYSIO TODAY !!!!  Had labs done and my liver functions are all in the normal "really good" range !  I get to know the results of my viral load this coming Tuesday (May 20th).  I'm really excited !  I've had minimal side effects, worse being "no sleep".   Something good is happening after dealing with this for the past 14 years !

thank you Jill! I appreciate your support so much. I had no idea if it was even working (as I don't have many if any noticeable symptoms on this protocol), so to see it go from 14 million to 28 in two weeks is truly a miracle. I was shocked. I said to my doc, "is it good news or bad news?" and he said what would be good news? I said, well... since I started with 14 million then 200,000 would be great news at the 2 week marker. Then he showed me the number "28" I had to double check that he had the correct name and it was truly my results!

I take labs in two more weeks. Then see him a week after that to find out. But now I'm not so anxious, as I know it working. I just have to continue for 9 more weeks!

Hi OMJ, what an amazing result, you must be overjoyed to see such a drastic improvement after only two weeks, and I`m very pleased for you...congrats!! 

These are such powerful drugs and you`re well on your way to your first `undetected` result...what a boost!

Wow, your VL really took a nose dive fast!  Those meds like you.  And it sounds like you are doing well with side effects too.  

Yes, those little buggers have been known to hide out in all kinds of places, but it appears they are on their way out for you.  Congrats. smile

Thank you so much TIg! I heard that even once it clears the blood, it can still remain in the organs or brain, so they keep you on treatment for the full 12 weeks b/c of that. Starting to make sense! Thank you for celebrating with me. I have 9 more weeks and I'm already celebrating inside.
