Lol! Isis, in this situation, no Riba required.

lol  great ppl u are. jlynch, blow up neighbors house?? that is too funny.. they did piss u off.. this is not my co workers first treatment with me. they know I keep trying & that should tell them something about me.i am strong. dale Earnhardt once said after hitting terry labonte on a last lap on a race & turned him around, he said I wasn't trying to wreck him, I was trying to rattle his cage. & sr always said if they ain't booing me something wrong..  lol the new doses of ribra are a different shape from the other one I had. weird because they are not affecting like the others did. so much better. I will keep my head above theirs.  I am better than that.. all of em.. smilebiggrin

thank ya'll     ya'll certainly made me laugh.. shot 5 tomorrow.. then #6 next Friday yay.. 1/2 way... love all u guys!!

I agree taz,

I have been wanting to blow up my neighbor's house since week 4.  They are inconsiderate and play basketball outside my office all day.  I need to remember to not overreact to them or anyone else.  We are extremely sensitive on these meds - I try to laugh at my intensity.  Driving home today I thought of someone who pissed me off 5 years ago - I really got worked up and then had to laugh.  Screw'em!

Taz--
You got some great replies from members here.

You and I are on the same tx. Remember too, you are 4 weeks into tx, and the Riba is probably starting to affect your emotions. I know it's hard to identify mine sometimes. My thought, first and foremost, is to get through this tx, and focus on that. You can always confront other issues aftetward, if you still think it important, and it probably won't be.

Best wishes,

jimbob

Someone once told me that what other people are thinking about me is none of my business. Therefore, when my mind wants to wander down the path of what they're thinking, I remind myself that it's only gonna make me miserable if I get into their heads and I keep my focus on what my goals are.

Taz, don't let the workplace get you down.  I work with good people however I am really embarrassed at times.  My lack of memory and brain fog is all too evident.  I don't discuss my health issues with others but they know I've got problems.  Fortunately they are not mean spirited.  I try and keep in mind daily something a buddy Paul wrote (paraphrased) "More than this we can rejoice in our suffering, because we know that suffering produces endurance, endurance builds character, character gives hope, and hope doesn't disappoint us, because we know that God's love will be poured into our hearts".  I know it's hard when others are talking about you, but anger and frustration only fuels their enmity.  Try not to worry about what others think. You know you are special, and you're working hard to improve your health and life.  Day to day is really all any of us can do. Stay focused on your treatment and getting better.  You owe it to yourself and others that care about you.  Folks here are hoping and praying you get through this.  While we are not in your shoes, we have an idea of what you're going through.   Stay strong.

Kat, I have found no matter where I work, no matter how good the working conditions, pay, etc there are those who will complain and generate negativity in the work place. I think you are likely a bigger person and will rise above it. No one really knows your story. I figure as long as the person accusing me of goldbricking isn't the one signing the paycheck you're golden.

Enjoy your recovery and your new lease on life without liver disease.

Regardless people will talk - if you are on treatment, losing weight, talking to someone you shouldn't, in a job that has moral issues :/ sad fact of life I am afraid. People have spoken about me for years and tried to take me down many a time and each and every day I stand tall as that is the only thing to bring these feeble minded people down, I when people like us stand up and be counted as PEOPLE regardless of our past, medical history or otherwise. Stay strong and remember you ARE NOT ALONE xXx

Hey Taz Kat,

We would always hope that people would be compassionate toward us, because we would be toward them. However, some people are just downright miserable and don't know what a compassionate spirit is. I am 8 years in recovery and in that time, I have experienced overwhelming pain from ugly words spoken about me...and sometimes from those closest to me. I don't know if you believe in God or not, but that is where I get the strength to move forward in the face of all kinds of adversity. When people are mean like that, they are trying to get you to quit and give up....I DON'T THINK SO...I refuse to give them the satisfaction. I go into my God fight mode and keep moving.

So sorry for you.  I don't know why people are so mean-spirited.  You are doing this for you and your family, regardless of what others think, they don't really matter.  Keep your chin up, thank God every day for what you have, and pray for those that persecute you.

Peace be with you....

I think this is the first full day of being off from work since I started the treatment 4/25. I took off early last week to go to my granddaughters kindergarten graduation. one of my co workers texted me to tell me there were some talking  that I was playing sick today cuz I am off on Fridays.i try to work 10 hr days & get my work done. I even stayed til 7 one night & 7:30 another night to stay with one lady there & try to help her & not leave her by herself.  I am so hurt. I am getting letter from doctor which I always do, but just didn't do it yet. I get it tomorrow.  they have been thru 4 treatments with me & you would think they would try to cheer on someone trying to get cured instead of talking about them. I don't get it. we help ppl with developmental disabilities & they want to chew on one of their own. shaking my head. Taz
