  HCV Genotype 3a , now Psot-Tx was on S/riba. First VL was 5.8 mil on 7-5-13 then "und" at 3.8 weeks. 06/13/14 still und. off meds 3 days back on 7/29 Last pill 08/10/14 SVR+4

I told everybody I was anemic (which was true). Now they have stopped asking. When I go someplace where there are ****tails involved, I quickly buy a sprite or something with lemon and they just assume it's a drink.

Congratulations Sara! S/O truly is a miracle protocol and has already provided countless examples of success. Keep up the fight and in a matter of weeks that UND will turn to SVR!

As far as the alcohol explanation is concerned, it's not what the others think, but what you want for the future. If your plan is to abstain from alcohol, all you have to say is "no thanks", and no explanation is needed or owed. It's a life changing decision and a healthy one at that.  Good luck...

This is such good news.  I know you were considering the triple therapy with Interferon/Riba/Incivek and am SO glad you did this instead.  Seeing how well this is going for you makes many people happy.  And now you are almost done.  Congrats on the UND.  :)

Started olysio/sovaldi off label 5/6/14. 6 week labs undetected! I have 30 some days left and cant imagine what it would have been like if i had not decided to wait for off label approval and had to do the year long treatment with ribavarin, etc. i feel so sorry for those who have to go through the sickness when so far this treatment has been painless for me. Just a tad bit tired but nothing too bothersome. Take the meds at night before bed and feel no worse in the AM. I wish this treatment was available to all, as the side effects are minimal. the hardest thing has been explaining why I am not drinking at social events. Other than that.... Smooth sailing :)
