My side pain was very severe......like a 12 out of 10.   My family doc thought it was gall bladder and I had ct with contrast and ultra sound,,,,no stones....and i refused surgery at my family docs hospital...holy spirit,,...my hep docs didn't want me to have surgery.....so I went on a pain killer and rest program,  now it's all over, the surgeon at my hep docs hospital fond no reason for surgery....they are the best.....the other hospital would of operated if I hadn't refused and insisted on going to Hershey medical.  So now I'm off pain meds....no more pain....and no one really knows the answer,  I didn't have a fever or nausea,,,,no other problems....just severe pain....started like a side sticker....became crazy painful when I moved...sneezed...coughed....like a war was going on....

so I have no answer....talk to your docs...the hep docs....if it's unbarable....tell them...the pain killers didn't interfer with the S/ O...I was undectected and 4 weeks....and am fine and off the pain meds now.

Hi Everyone, today is the end of wk 3 Sol/Rib and I have started having some pains on the right side of my abdomen.  Is this part of TX side effects?  They aren't severe, but more like a stitch in my side like when you run after drinking a bunch of water.  I think I read somewhere that there is some pain as Sol is killing the virus...does anyone know if there is any truth to that?

I am the guy getting a ct ,  we are the same geno type. so I would not rule out that it is the virus,

I have been having a lot of abdominal pain.  Somehow though I have a suspicion that I may have IBS.  I had my gall bladder removed about 5 years ago.

At least a couple of people have reported stomach pains while on a Sovaldi combo.  They can tell you more about it themselves but for one it turned out to be a gallbladder problem and another is having a CT scan to check it out.
