I agree. And I'm trying to learn all that I can from you all, and doing lots of searching in part for that reason.

A recent situation with me, that was not nearly as major as the screw-ups with your situation, but mistakes non-the-less: My HIV nurse wrote one of my new Rx's as "Inject Two Tablet Daily", then entered quantity of 120 tabs.

I corrected her on her instructions which were supposed to read "Take Two Tablets Twice Daily", hence 120 tabs.

Then I told her that I injected many different 'tablet form' Rx's for many years during my addiction days, and I could probably find a way to break down an Etravirine tab too if that's what she wanted. LOL biggrin

 Thanks Man, The food tray with nothing but salt and lactose was a mistake, especially With a BP of 140/92 but what they were trying to do with the Meds. Is Beyond That!  It is not avoidible, Right now, If you don't know exactly what and how to take this Tx yourself, your at risk because the medical community can't keep up with the changes.

Well, Gator Man,, and Isiscat, I had you all in my thoughts the whoe time.  And this Forum Saved me , They kept trying to give me Ribavirin with out the Sovaldi and too much AND the wrong kind. Not that I would have been able to keep it down.  The Nurse's are not traind in this Comb-O Therapy and The medical world needs some way to indicate this . They had packs of 3 capsules of time released Ribavirin making the dose 6oo not 4, And because they didn't have the Sovaldi, they was going to just skip that.  I was able to talk them out of it using Mallani's explanation of how it dissolves in the small intestine at a certain PH and must be taken Together, Re phrase that, Simultaneously . It was not until one of the Eight Doctors in the Group I use said, {The one that is the Haematologist } "You Right" and if you would have taken it , This would most likely cause a relapse!  All the Time release kind Dose is Stir the disease up." That anyone would listen to me.  Thank You Mallani/ Looks Like you diverse half of my Dr. Trophy.  And I trained a few nurses wile I was there, But don't tell my sister, That was her job in Kerville, Training nurse.  She might get mad.  She never liked it when I got into her text books either.

So glad you are ok, Huey!  You had me worried.  I had a bad feeling that something wasn't going well, but I am a little bit psychic, you know.  Ok, I'll save the humor for when you are recovered.  Get plenty of rest, drink liquids, eat chicken soup, and we will see you when you are up to typing.  :)

P.S.  Did that DaVinci robot guy malfunction?   So hard to find good help these days!  You want I should sue those ba*****s for you?

Sorry you had a rough go of it, but glad you are back and on the mend. I think Isiscat was going to send a search party out for you!smile

Hi everyone, I have been in the Hospital since Monday, The surgery got messed up, They had to go back in through my common bile duct and put in a stint.  This whole episode was vary vary painful, I was on 25cc morphine IV push for the first day, That went down to as much as 4cc the 2ed, depending, The last day I made them keep me just to dry me out.  I missed my Tx for 3 days.  I went back on it as soon as I could hold anything down. but from all the Anastasia I was on "twice in a row like that" My urethra shut and had to use a catheter just to pee.doh

I am ok now though, Thanks for all the best wishes, Chat at you all later.
