When I was on tx I was given a list of substances not to use.  I recall St. John's Wart and marijuana, among others, being on that list.  Tobacco was not.

It probably depends on the tx drugs being used.  I had not been diagnosed with cirrhosis at that point and I'm not sure that severe liver damage would be necessary to decrease absorption (and thereby lessen efficacy) of the tx drugs.

I would do some serious research and talk to my doc about it before using anything herbal or prescription that might interfere with tx.   Not worth the risk.

I used it on vaporizer couple of times to induce munchies/appetite , since i was loosing weight fast (1-2kg per month) and i am slim guy. From online publications what have i found regarding THC/CBD, if you are cirrhotic or advanced fibrosis it's not recommended, but with light fibrosis apparently it won't make it worse (or better). Don't smoke tobacco of course.

best
