My hair is two different layers. The hair that fell out during treatment and the hair that didn't.

I was still loosing hair a month after EOT. Fist time on the riba/inter trials years ago I looked like the "Cript keeper" hair was all patches. I've seen ppl go bald all the way from the old treatments. Hang in there it won't be long now. :)

  I'm not very educated on Ribavirin Sx's yet but "Painful Pimples & Lymph Nodes" are not real encouraging for us on Sov/Riba, But it could be worse. I'm only on day 14, and my intitial Sx, fatigue, is all but gone. Maybe I'll be able to skip the painful pimples, knock on wood.

I know you girls are particular about your pretty hair, but the hair loss thing is only temporary so that's doable.

I'll add a prayer in there too Debra for your labs tomorrow.

Sounds like a bitch.  I hate it when a new unexpected reaction to treatment occurs.  Hang in though, SVR is just around the corner.

Well, I did some research and found that these are more sides from the ribavirin. It is also causing my hair to fall out at an alarming rate. I now wear different colored head bands each day. I have actual balding in the front. I could also use a good night's sleep. I find that most of the sides only last a week or so. The only ones that are constant are the insomnia and hair loss. The headaches come and go. They are painful, but usually don't last too long. I'm into week 14 of 24 on Sovaldi and Ribavirin. I'm over the hump now, thank the Lord. New labs tomorrow. I pray for continued success.

Hey Yall'

 

Is anyone having the above sides? I started having these painful pimples on my stomach a couple weeks ago. They have no puss inside, but they hurt like the dickens. Today I noticed painful lymph node under my right jaw. What's up??? Somebody please give me some info...thanks.
