Hey Mary,

Glad you are undetected. I see what you mean as for me these last two weeks have been, not hard to do, but have definitely noticed some little things here and there.

I should say also.....that I'm glad to be off the meds.  the last two weeks on the meds felt like I was being poisened....I can understand why you wanted to extend the S/O....but I feel very good after twelve weeks and I'm guessing,,,,,positively that I am good to go and won't need anymore hep meds,...

I had extreem side pain....it went away after two weeks and some pain killers from the docs. They did ct and ultra sound and found nothing,,,,,it didnt come back and I have no answers.  A few people have taken the meds at night and it helps them with some of the side effects.  I finished the 12 weeks, two weeks ago.  It was easy.  The first two weeks were the hardest with light sensitivity and ,y skin feeling prickly...then the side pain....then I was fine until the last two weeks,,,,very very tired.....and headaches.  Now after two weeks I can report that I feel great and am waiting on the 3 and 6 month all clear report....

overall, with the exception of the side pain, most side effects are no big deal.  Now my energy level is great, I'm getting stronger.....my head is clear....so just hang in there....there are a lot of people on yr side.

Hi all,

I posted a while back that I had found some data that showed that doing the Sovaldi and Olysio for 24 weeks instead of the 12 showed a higher SVR. So I had asked my doctor if he recommended that I continue. I had already cleared at week 6 and wanted to do the full 24 weeks. After a very long struggle, I was able to get the medications extended. What a mission!

So my question is, I am on week 13 and have noticed some slight things happening. One main side effect has been irritability. I find myself very agitated very easily lately. The other thing I have noticed is in my right quadrant, I have a slight pain. I know the liver has no feeling, but there is something that feels near my gull bladder that feels sore. And every now and then my kidneys will become sore. And one last thing I have noticed is sometimes I get pretty tired in the middle of the day. I have been taking the medication at 10am every morning.

Just curious if anyone else has experienced this in their treatment of Sovaldi and Olysio.
