Hi Ron,

Welcome to the Forum. You are lucky to have the Genotype that's easiest to treat, so I'm sure you'll do well. You may get some anaemia from the Ribavirin, but I hope you have an easy treatment. Cheers.

This is a great resource.  Good luck on your treatment.  I am on week 6 of a 12 week Merck clinical trial.  So far, so good.

Hi Ron,

Welcome to the forum. We share the same genotype. I am waiting for my labs in Dec. to find out if I achieved SVR. Good luck with your treatment. There are some folks here that know so much about this disease and the different treatment so ask if you have any questions. I don't personally know the answers but this forum has people who do have answers.

I also has a high viral load of 19,000,000 at treatment but was undectable 4 weeks post treatment. I was on sovaldi and ribavirin. The ribavirin kicked my butt so I hope it worked. I'm really glad to meet you and keep checking here cause you'll find lots of information.

my best

Gigi
